Talking about the drought

As an indication of how a realisation may be setting in amongst at east some of the more in-touch people.....

I was leaning against the gate, chatting with a friend, Ken, while visiting the horses yesterday.

It was incredibly hot - like mid- February.

Suddenly, out of the blue he said, "What are we going to do, Robin?"

I said, "about what?"

"About the climate?"

And then he talked about the heat, the drought, the rivers and then about 7 billion people on the planet.

Normally, all we talk about is horses
