I thought it was time to consult the Climate Reanalyzer to check what has changed. 

In terms of temperature anomalies what hits me is that red area (+36F/20C) right up above Greenland around the North Pole.

Australia is cooler than normal but NZ is warmer than average, which is winessed by the extremely warm early-autumn temperature here.

Notice the ocean temperature hotspots above Scandanavia as well as in the northern Pacific.
